Transit Resources
BUS – Valley Metro
Three routes serve the Southwest Valley. The START bus (Route 131) began service to the Southwest Valley in 2000. The bus covers the area from Desert Sky Mall to Litchfield Park with numerous stops, including Estrella Mountain Community College. Eastbound service begins at 6:55 a.m. and runs through 8:30 a.m. Westbound buses run from 5:30 p.m. to 7:23 p.m. Routes 560 & 561 also serve the Southwest Valley. Eastbound buses run from 5:59 a.m. until 7:55 a.m. Westbound buses are scheduled from 4:09 p.m. until 6:33 p.m., effective August 14, 2000.
Cost: $1.25 one way.
Pick up point and times are subject to change. Complete schedules are published in the "Bus Book", which is available at you Chamber of Commerce, supermarkets, libraries, and public building.

Parking available at Food City Shopping Plaza - SW corner of Dysart and Van Buren, 79th Avenue Park and Ride at intersection of I-10, SE corner of 79th Avenue and McDowell.
